About Us

This event has been organised to help raise awareness of the Charity and the amazing work they do for Royal Marines and their families.  I have chosen to support The Royal Marines Charity as it is very close to my heart.

The Royal Marines Charity supports the whole Royal Marines family; The Serving Corps, Veterans, Reservists, Widows, Dependants and Cadets, by providing assistance when public funding or support from other agencies is unavailable, which enables Marines and their families to overcome their challenges, including life changing injury, life limiting illness, mental disability, transition to civilian life and even poverty.

I hope that this event will be a fun filled day for all ages.  There will be bouncy castles at the event, but please note these will be unmanned and any children using the castles do so at the responsibility of their parents/guardians.  Face painting will also be available, a burger van will be on-site for the day, the Local Sea & Marine Cadets will be demonstrating, and much more to come.  But the main event of the day is the Sponsored Muddy Assault Course, which will consist of running, crawling, jumping, climbing, wading and generally getting very muddy!

In the interest of health and safety there are disclaimers that need to be read and signed before taking part, full risk assessments will be completed prior to the event, a medical point will be at the event in case of any injury, and the course will be clearly marked out, marshals will also be positioned around the course.

For any questions, suggestions or further information please email Laura at or telephone 07781 170042.
